Overseas qualifications, skills recognition and licensing
When you arrive in WA it can be useful to get recognition of your overseas qualifications and skills to help you find employment or enrol in further study.
Even if you have already had your skills assessed as part of a visa application, there may be further steps you will need to complete once you arrive.
Get in person career support across WA
Did you know there are 19 Jobs and Skills Centres located on TAFE campuses throughout Perth and regional WA? These centres provide free, in person advice and assistance for careers, training and job ready support If you would like to speak to someone about your job hunt or career, the Jobs and Skills Centres are a great place to start.
The centres also provide free workshops; and specialised services for Aboriginal jobseekers, ex-offenders, and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

Free workplace training and mentoring for onshore migrants
Would you like free training to prepare you for employment in your chosen profession in WA? In partnership with Australian Red Cross, Evolve WA is delivering a free five-day Workplace Readiness Training workshop covering workplace communication, employment rights, pay and obligations to prepare skilled migrants for employment in WA.
Graduates of the workshop are eligible to access a 12-week mentor program to improve their employment potential.
